Some people call him an artist, others call him a hideous mistake, and one person even called him the world-ending event that the Mayans told us about. All of those are true but Harry May-Bedell is also a writer, actor, and creator working across TV, Film, Theatre, and Immersive.

In 2020 Harry wrote and starred in the BFI-funded short ‘MONSTER’ and secured a development deal with Wall-to-Wall North for an original comedy-drama inspired by the film.

Harry currently has multiple projects in development including an original drama series with mentoring from Jack Thorne and an original comedy series with support from New Writing North. Harry was also recently awarded Early Development Funding from the BFI for a debut feature film.

Harry is a BAFTA Connect member, and an alumnus of multiple talent labs including Scratch Me (Film Hub North), FLEX (Screen Yorkshire), Writersroom Voices North (BBC Writers) and is currently being mentors by award-winning writer Jack Thorne as part of the Jed Mercurio Mentorship Programme.
